Elevators have been around for a long time – but they weren’t always powered by electricity! In the ancient Roman Colosseum, there were 24 elevators that were powered by slaves pulling ropes. It doesn’t look like Sophie’s umbrella is going to help her stay dry with Sadie jumping in the puddle! Looks like Sophie and Sadie found a beautiful place to go hiking. Pine trees are so tall and strong – and have a lovely smell. Instead of big leaves that fall off in the winter, the leaves of pine trees are shaped like needles and they stay on all year. The shape is perfect for wintertime, since the snow slides right off!
