Pumpkin time!

Sophie and Sadie are wandering through a pumpkin patch – just in time for Halloween! There are lots of different kinds of pumpkins – some are better for eating and some are better for carving. They are native to North America, but now they are grown on every continent except for Antarctica! Secret whisper

What do you think Sadie is telling Sophie?! She’s whispering a secret! When we whisper, we don’t use our vocal cords like we do when we talk – and our vocal cords are what helps us make different sounds and also sing. Try singing in a whisper – it can’t be done! Happy New Year 2017

It’s almost January and that means it’s time for fireworks! Different countries and different cultures have different New Years that they celebrate at different times of the year.
