Sophie and Sadie are visiting a museum. All museums want to know how many people visit – some have people with number clickers at the entrance and others use turnstiles like these. You’ll find all different types of turnstiles in all different places – but they were originally invented for farmers who needed a way that they could leave the pasture and their animals couldn’t follow them (and couldn’t go off on adventures of their own!).
