Sculpture – Egypt Ushabti

Looks like Max made it to the museum as well! Who doesn’t like learning about Ancient Egypt?! These sculptures by the Ancient Egyptians are called Ushabti. They were buried (sometimes hundreds of them – and sometimes they were small and sometimes they were big) with the dead and expected to servants to them in whatever came next. The hieroglyphics on their legs was their contract saying they were willing to work!
