For some people hay season may mean allergies – for farmers it means getting food stored for the winter for their animals – for the rest of us it means all the lovely things that come with fall…including hay rides! Sometimes tractors pull the wagon and sometimes it’s horses.
Hay is the name for dried grass. Farmers pile it into hay stacks, roll it into round bales, or squash it into rectangular shaped blocks.
