Well, it certainly is grand if grand means humongous! It’s long and it’s wide and it’s deep. Although it is not the biggest canyon in the world. But it might be the most famous. The amazing thing is that a simple river, the Colorado River, running over the area for 5-6 million years carved away all of that stone. Looks like Sadie has found some family in Saguara National Park in Arizona! The Sonoran Desert is the only place in the world that the Saguara Cactus grows – and they can grow pretty tall (the tallest on record was 78 feet tall)!
