Some people like to feed the birds in the winter so they can enjoy seeing them up close. Other people think that it’s better for the birds to find their own food! What kind of birds and how many come to eat all depends on what kind of seeds you put in the feeder.
There are birds that like to eat from bird feeders and birds that like to eat what they find on the ground. One of the tricky things about feeding the birds is that squirrels love to eat bird food!
