Sledding!


Sleds have been around for a long time! The Inuit people (we used to call them Eskimos but they prefer Inuit) made sleds out of whale bones – but mostly sleds are made out of wood or metal or plastic. Of course, you can sled down a snowy hill on top of just about anything flat, like a big piece of cardboard or a cookie tray! The sled Sophie and Sadie are on looks like it’s plastic to me!
